Yellow started by conducting in-depth research on all online grocery platforms, highlighting key trends in how people shop for groceries, when they shop, and why they come back to repurchase. Yellow also conducted an audit of the shopping experience on the web and app. Based on the research, Yellow presented the takeaways and recommendations and implemented them across Barakat’s web and app.
Yellow defined the imagery style, the primary and secondary CTA button styles and colours, as well as the templates for the promotional and awareness banners ensuring consistency throughout the web and app journey. Yellow also defined the loyalty communication within the app as well as the delivery packaging ensuring that the brand presence was strong during and after the shopping experience.
